Jared Rickabaugh
Director of Quality Management
Jared Rickabaugh, MBA, RN, is the Director of Quality Management. In this role, Jared coordinates the Performance Improvement/Quality Improvement program within the hospital, facilitates the Medical Staff quality improvement process and oversees employees responsible for clinical trials and research, clinical database collection/reporting/presentations, infection control, and national quality reporting initiatives.
He has worked in many roles of increasing responsibility here at EIRMC, quickly moving from staff nurse to Clinical Team Leader, then into the Quality Department as our Core Measures Coordinator. During this time, Jared earned the CPHQ professional certification in quality improvement.
Most recently, Jared has served as the Clinical Manager of our Emergency Department. In this role, Jared won the HCA Mountain Division “Peak” Award for piloting quality management systems that were eventually adopted by the entire Division. In addition, Jared and the E.D. team won a statewide Qualis Award, recognizing quality improvement initiatives that significantly reduced patient wait times. Jared also earned the Certified Emergency Nurse certification.
Jared holds a Masters of Business Administration from Idaho State University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brigham Young University.
Jared currently serves on the Board of Directors of United Way of Idaho Falls & Bonneville County, and is active in Boy Scouts and church activities.
A native of Iowa, Jared fell in love with the area (and his wife) while attending Ricks College. Together, Jared and Tia have four daughters.
