Wendy Andersen
Director of Human Resources
Wendy Andersen is the Director of Human Resources for EIRMC. In this role, she has responsibility for recruitment and retention of qualified, professional staff; assists with employee relations; develops compensation management/analysis; and leads behavioral-based interview training. Prior to her appointment as Director, Wendy worked for 10 years as Manager of the Human Resources Department.
Wendy has a long list of professional organizations that she works closely with. She is the President of Idaho Hospital Association's HR Group; a member of the Board of Directors for RWIT (Regional Workforce Innovation Team); and on the Ad hoc Board of Directors for the Society of Human Resource Management. Wendy sits on the Business Advisory Council for the Department of Labor, Development Workshop, and Healthcare Professions. She is also the former State SHRM Workforce Readiness Director.
EIRMC proudly encourages employees to give back to our community, schools, and churches. Wendy is active in her childrens' school PTO, served as Past President of a large youth group in her church, and was Co-Chair of EIRMC’s United in Hope campaign for three years.
Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Training from Idaho State University. She is currently studying for her Senior Professional Human Resources certification, and will soon begin working on her MBA.
Wendy lives in Ammon with her husband Todd, their two boys Austin and Andy, and the family Min Pin/Chihuahua mix named Daisy.
