EIRMC Announces New Assistant Chief Nursing Officer

Idaho Falls, ID - Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Renae Oswald  RN, MSN, NHA, NE-BC, to Assistant Chief Nursing Officer.  Her primary responsibility is to oversee clinical operations for all nursing, with a particular focus on assuring quality outcomes for our patients. 

Oswald has been with the hospital since 1990, serving in various nursing and management capacities.   Prior to her appointment as ACNO, Renae was the Director of the Transitional Care Unit & Rehabilitation Unit here at EIRMC. 

In addition to her commitment to EIRMC’s continued development, Renae enjoys giving time back to her community.  She currently serves on the Ashton Memorial Board of Directors, which is devoted to providing mental health, nursing home, and clinical services for Idaho Falls and the Upper Valley.   She has also served on the Board of Directors as a Corporate Team Recruiter for Relay for Life and was also a regional speaker at Team Captain University.

Renae holds a Masters of Nursing Administration from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, Utah, a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.

Renae lives in Rigby with her husband Kevin, her high school sweetheart from Bonneville High School.  They have three children, Brianna, Nicholas, and Jacob.
