EIRMC Sponsors High School Career Exploration Day - Press Release

March 21, 2011

Idaho Falls, ID -- Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center and the Idaho Department of Labor have teamed up to give an up-close perspective to local high school students about the career options available to them in healthcare. Bonneville and Hillcrest High School sophomores will learn about occupations in the healthcare field that play a key role in treatment and recovery of patients.

The guest speaker is Mitch Fadness, a young man from St. Anthony whose life was changed by a tragic farm accident in October 2009. Mitch, his mother Angie, Dr. William Wilson, and several of his care-givers will share their experiences during his recovery journey.

Representatives from other areas of EIRMC will share information about their chosen careers, the variety of options in healthcare and how it takes all of us to work together to deliver the best care to our patients.
