Due to our extremely low rates of hospital-acquired infections and our aggressive prevention programs, EIRMC was one of only 14 hospitals in the U.S. invited to participate in a federal study of successful infection reduction initiatives.

EIRMC is also Idaho’s only recipient of the “Qualis Health Award of Excellence in Healthcare” for reducing the spread of hospital-acquired infections.
