Intensive outpatient program (IOP)
The IOP is a short-term, structured outpatient treatment program that helps your teen reach a place where they can engage and participate in regular activities. Focusing on those who need more care than is typically available in outpatient counseling, but for whom inpatient hospitalization is not needed, we emphasize improving relationships, developing methods of coping, achieving goals and managing stress and life changes.
Led by an interdisciplinary team, we use evidence-based treatment to provide your child with new tools to master practical challenges of everyday life, while effectively managing any symptoms of anxiety or depression. Additionally, we teach about the importance of boundaries, healthy communication, self-awareness and self-esteem.
